Ururahy Rodrigues fresh off his victory at UWC 8: Judgement Day wants to let all opponents know he's serious. Rodrigues is currently 18-1 internationally but only appears as 4-2 in the US. Fight Life: MMA Documentary

Producer James Z. Feng has followed notable fighters and contributers to the world of MMA such as Frank Shamrock, Jake Shields, Nick Diaz, Lyle Beerbohm, Ryan Schultz, Matt Lindland, Miesha Tate, Gilbert Melendez, "Big" John McCarthy, Bryan Caraway. The film shows the less glamorous side of MMA and is soon to be released.

Dodson flies high in Main Event

Despite a cancellation of the main event (Ryan Diaz vs. Mike Easton) due to an illness, UWC 8: Judgment Day featured a talent-heavy and well-matched card. There were no knockouts, but a fight lineup stocked with tricky submissions, bloodied fighters and finesse fighting had the large Patriot Center crowd reeling with every kick and punch.

UWC 8 Official weigh-ins

The UWC weigh-ins were a success. The John Dodson and Jesse Riggleman event got bumped from co-main to main event after bantamweight title contender Ryan "Lion" Diaz contracted an illness while training in Thailand. Instead UWC Bantamweight faced off against UWC CEO and founder Marcello Foran for photo ops. All fighters looked good, and ready to go! UWC fans can expect to see great fights May 22nd at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, VA
