Last Saturday night at Delaware State University's Memorial Hall, Sibling Rivalry Promotions put on one of Delaware's premier mma events. The fight card was packed with everything from a submisision grapling match to a title fight. On the card was a total of 11 fights and non were disappointing.
At first I did not think I was going to like the DE commissions rules on no ground and pound but then after the fights started and I saw that once the fight went to the ground everyone was fighting to stand back up and exchange hands I knew it was going to be a good night. The first three or four fights ended pretty quick with KO's but as the night went on the fights got better and at one point a mouth piece was seen flying about 3 rows back.
Jon "Man of Faith" Murphy was in attendance and was one of the referees. I have worked with him at several shows and he is a great guy. I will update full fight results as soon as I get them from the WKA but as for Sibling Rivalry Promotions and this being thier first event.... I look forward to more.
